The work begins with the source material and the question of which single image carries it
Once that image is established, the typography is constructed around it and sized to survive at scale, on a lobby wall or a street pole.
Some of this work was commissioned and selected; some was submitted to open competitions. Each piece is labeled accordingly.

Look through Wonka's glasses and the factory is already yours, two swirled sweets where his eyes should be, the whole world tinted candy. But the door only opens for the lucky. Below him, Charlie reaches into the wrapper for the one golden ticket that turns a chocolate bar into a way in.

The whole story is a mirror, so the mirror is the whole poster. Alice leans in from our side, reaching for a key on the grass, while the Queen's court is already waiting in the glass. Cross the frame and you cross into her world.

The rights women hold in this country were won by someone who kept writing the objection until it became the law. Her words are set into the shoulder of the robe.
